Before your appointment
Prepare a concise summary of your symptoms, diagnosis, previous treatment and current goals. Include allergies and an up-to-date medicine list. Ask which reports and original imaging files are needed and how to submit them securely.

- Ask about consultation fees, appointment length and language support.
- Write down your three most important questions and consider bringing a trusted companion.
- Ask whether any preparation is required. Do not fast or change medicines unless instructed by the responsible clinician.
During the clinical review
Be ready to describe how the condition affects daily life, what has already been tried and any other medical problems. Ask the clinician to explain the working diagnosis and whether further testing would change the decision. Discuss established treatment options as well as any proposed regenerative approach.

Consent and the decision to proceed
Request a consent document you can understand and enough time to consider it. Ask for clarification of unfamiliar terms, uncertain benefits and financial commitments. Agree what would happen if the clinician recommends postponement or if you decide not to proceed.
Confirm practical steps separately: arrival instructions, any escort requirement, observation arrangements and the next review. Do not assume that a same-day procedure, interpreter, transfer service or specific treatment is available simply because it appears in a general guide.
Leave with a clear next step
